What Is WHOIS, and How Do I Update My Details?

WHOIS is a publicly accessible database that shows registration details for every domain name — including the registrant’s name, contact details, and the domain’s registrar and status.

• Domain registrations are processed through our accredited domain services partner, and your details may appear in the WHOIS database as part of this process.
• If your contact details change (email, phone, address), please update them promptly to stay compliant with domain registration requirements and to make sure you receive important notices.
• Basic Privacy Protection, where available, hides your personal details from public WHOIS lookups without changing your legal ownership of the domain.
