Why Is My Domain Locked, and How Do I Unlock It?

Domain locking is a security feature that prevents unauthorised transfers of your domain to another provider.

• Domains are locked by default after registration or transfer.
• New registrations and recently-transferred domains may be locked for 60 days, per ICANN policy — this is a security window, not something we can override early.
• Outside that 60-day window, you can request the lock be removed at any time to initiate a transfer.

Want to unlock your domain? Contact us and we’ll action it.
